Annelien Bruins
Annelien Bruins has been working internationally with extensive, privately-owned collections of art, antiques and jewellery since 2001. Through this unique experience, in which Ms Bruins worked with collectors, their offices and their advisors, she recognized the need for hands-on, transparent art advisory services. Ms Bruins works in English, French, Italian, Dutch and German.
Ms Bruins regularly lectures on a variety of art and business-related topics for institutions such as Sotheby's Institute of Art and Christie's Education. She has been interviewed by the Financial Times and Wall Street Journal and has written on the art market for a number of publications, including Spear's Wealth Management. Ms Bruins is a contributing author to the Financial Times Guide to Investing in Emotional Assets and Collectibles: How to Manage a Portfolio for Growth.
Having completed an MA in Arts & Heritage Management (2005) Ms Bruins stays in tune with current best practice through courses and seminars. She obtained a Foundation Certificate in Art Law (2007) and a Diploma in Art Law and Ethics (2008) from the Institute of Art and Law in the United Kingdom. She is currently finalizing the Sloan Fellowship in Leadership and Strategy (MSc) at London Business School.
